Hey y’all! So… Do you have a hot second? Actually, scratch that. Do you have a free weekend? Or perhaps you are struggling to get through whatever season you are in (depending on which hemisphere you find yourself)? Or are you just in that ‘Netflix is overrated’ phase and you want to grab a good book and get lost in the lives of other interesting characters?

Yes? You do? Well, I am looking for beta readers. I am about 10k words away from completing the first draft of my new manuscript. And I want to get it out there for people to read and send me back their feedback.

Now, please do not comment / reply if you are just going to read part of the book and then let it lie in a corner gathering dust. If you do not have the time and / or are not willing to give me the feedback that I need, let’s not waste each other’s time.

If however, you are interested, I will be happy to send you a pdf copy of my first draft as well as a list of questions you will have to answer after you have finished reading. To show your interest, you have loads of options:

Without giving away too much about the untitled book, it is a full-length novel at roughly 70k words at first draft. It’s clean romance, so don’t expect anything raunchy. It’s based in the US (so, anyone who has enjoyed my British stories, may or may not want to read this – I totally get it!) And since it is first draft, there will be spelling mistakes, you can expect grammatical errors, and you may find that you don’t like the characters even. That’s what first drafts are and this is why authors have beta readers – so we can use the feedback we receive from you to improve our works-in-progress.
