Have you heard about Goodreads? No? Well, if you love books, then you should be checking out Goodreads. Here you can find other like-minded people with similar interests. You can join Reading Challenges, find recommendations on books and authors you would probably never hear of otherwise. You can join chat groups and discuss all sort of book-related things. And did I mention you can ask authors questions and they usually answer (if they are a Goodreads Author).
I am a Goodreads Author and you can follow me here. I’ve used the platform since before I became an indie author. At first I used it because I wanted to get out of my horror genre funk (I’m a huge Stephen King fan). I checked out some recommendations to slowly get into reading other genres. There are ‘shelves’ where I can add books I want to read, books I couldn’t finish and books I have read. I am able to keep track of how many books I have read and I’ve joined the yearly Reading Challenge a few years now. For 2021 I challenged myself to 30 books for the year and I’m making good progress considering I really don’t have much time with motherhood and writing.
As an author, I am always looking forward to hearing from my readers and – dare I say – fans. I’m eager to answer any of your questions, whether it is related to my books or my craft. So why not head on over and hit that follow button. Ask me a question, I dare you.
