Born and bred in the most beautiful city in the world (yes, of course I am biased), Cape Town, South Africa. My roots are in Africa, but I have always considered myself a pilgrim on Planet Earth and as such I love to travel and leaving my mark wherever my tootsie lead me.
I have lived in England, Dubai, Germany and now call The Bahamas my home-away-from-home. Although to be fair, I am home wherever I plant my feet. And so, right now that just happens to be with my husband and daughter in The Bahamas.
I do enjoy traveling, although due to current circumstance, that is not really an option for many of us. I have been blessed to visit some of the most amazing cities and countries. I have a short list and am very lucky to have been able to tick off a few on that list. England alone has been my inspiration for many of my written (if not published) works. You will find that I tend to lean towards the UK for the setting of most of my stories.
Anyway, not to bore you with my first post, so I just thought I’d introduce myself and why I started this blog. This is mostly for my writing and to promote my self-published books. I enjoy writing. I certainly love reading. And I do have a vision for this blog. So if you will indulge me, please do return often to keep updated on all things Gretchen.
